Your body is grounded, so only use one hand to hold the cap.
An oscope can be used in the same fashion but the V/Div need to go lower than our Sencore can achieve... say 5mV/div.
Anyway, I don't lose sleep over "polarity" of nonpolar capacitors any longer.
...Until I "thought" they might be loading backwards - oh my!
So I got neurotic.
Large caps, 1uf and above usually don't show a difference.
