RE: Is my film cap power supply a low frequency attenuator?

What's the idle current of the OPTubes and the current of the FE tubes?
IIRC, it's a PP A/B-1 amp?

A B1+ PS doesn't fair well with an A/B amp. Fine for Class A SET amps.
Consider putting an LC stage off C1 or C2 to feed the FE tubes.
Keep in mind, the size of the choke (in H)is predicated on the load.
Lower I = more H.
For example, an overall 300mA load would require roughly a 3H choke.
Further, I prefer to put the larger choke (LC) > OPT CT.
Smaller choke for filtering, can be adjusted for ripple reduction with the size of C2.

Cheers,
W
