Mike-I had a feeling that I would need to change the power supply caps, I was just so surprised at how quiet these amps are stock!If I'm going to change them, may as well put the good film caps in. The other thing about the power supply that kind of bugged me was that 50uf cap right after the 5V4G, doesn't that value (50 uf) exceed the recommended capacitance for a 5V4G? I was considering putting in a 10 uf film cap right after the 5V4G followed by a small choke to keep the B+ voltage close to original. You weren't suggesting a choke input , were you? The other electrolytic that I already replaced is the shared 50 uf/50 volt cathode bypass on the EL-37s. I replaced it with a 100 uf/50 volt Sprague Atom.
