I work the cathodes with the Secondary of the Output and use UL connections on my Lundahls... Great results..

You're running your Bias voltage across your speaker terminals which feels weird but does nice things to the over all dampening.

For valves requiring a reasonable bias voltages (24 V or under) I don't feel it's an issue as long as a user knows what they have.
