If the tubes are matched, and remain matched, and one of them never fails, single resistor does have the filament at a lower impedance to signal common, however much that counts for anything - I dont know.
With independent resistors, you can adjust to balance DC current which may or may not be important to you with respect to inbalance in the core of the OPT.
What happens if one tube fails and the other is then biased with half the bias voltage that it would otherwise have - but maybe you have circuit protection and this is not a problem, but for others, its worth at least thinking about.
