The 100k was an arbitrary figure to suit the purpose of the question.
My amplifiers use either/or a combination of direct and transformer coupling, so there is no RC in practice which includes the cathode circuits.
I remember reading something about tubes liking a low AC impedance from grid WRT ground, probably a grid choke thread. The last RC coupled stage that I built used 0.1uF teflon cap with 180k, DC was quite some better. All to say that I cant comment with any actual experience with varying values of resistive grid to ground resistors.
What started me thinking about this is an idea for a CCS hybrid mu follower parafeed to an autoformer for a DAC output stage and the inductive reactance of the unit requires a large capacitor.
I figured to simply scale the results from the 100k question to suit, and use that as a starting point.
