The calcs and the graphs are very interesting and might go some way in explaining why some seem to use larger C values than would be required if the -3dB LF point was the only consideration.

I guess the next question is how much phase shift at LF is acceptable for full range amplification, and to what point does it in itself become compromised by the need for a larger coupling capacitor and the inherent issues associated with that. ?
