My friend Mark in Dorchester is a master carpenter. He custom built me
this walnut chassis for my 845 amp. Prior to this Fall, it had been
riding on an crappy butt-joint-fastened oak frame.
The wood was only $22. He set is router table to exactly cut depth
for the 3mm Front Panel Express Plate that I had fabricated for this
project. In Walnut, the Hammerite bronze finish on the toplate looks awesome!
