Well I think you received a few alternative definitions of "Warmth".
That was probably the most productive point of your post ;> )
I'll stick to "Accurate and Engaging"...
If everyone is on board with the same definitions we would be dangerous..
I assume we all looking to recreate "Reproduce recorded Music"in a space that is enormously variable with multiple approaches that we build.
For anyone that has started building Tube amps because they got tired of the SS smear, I'm sure you relate to the initial build...that you had to work out the damping factor. Especially those who chose the strapped pentode approach. You have similar but bigger challenges with SEP.
Is this not the discussion a Tube DIY forum needs to have. Forgive me for missing or ignoring previous posts of similar content..
