RE: Busted insulator grommet - sources for replacement?

Greetings- If you want the exact replacement part, we would need to know the model# and manufacturer of the amplifier to identify the binding post. However, if you can get by with a reasonable facsimile , I'd suggest going to a True Value type hardware store with the large selection of pull out trays of assorted hardware. You should be able to find a tray labeled "Nylon Washers" which come in various sizes and thicknesses ,and they are white in color. I use them all the time for exactly what you're doing. I believe that these nylon washers are also available in black, but nothing in red. Hope that this helps, regards, Paul
