RE: Plate Choke Low Capacitance Winding

Thanks for the suggestions...

This preamp is a Parafeed using LL1674 as an output. I have moved the chokes around with little success.

The fact that output floats as far as ground and I'm using unbalanced connections could also be playing a role in my woes.

I will try switching the choke leads and work on isolating the choke frames from the chassis with a direct connection to ground. I'm so happy with the sonic results, I compelled to keep trying. If I can't get this puppy quiet enough, I will probably try a larger chassis or try a separate PS chassis. I'm presently using a 8X12 hammond chassis. The size of the chassis could be the problem. Lots of inductive and capacitive coupling to overcome.

Thanks Again

Stuben
