I'm listening to a Giga Lab Moon DAC which is the same design as the Valab DAC. The Valab is said to have some additional upgrades in the output caps. I have been very impressed with the Giga Lab Moon DAC. The NOS approach seems to be a very good source for tube amps. The mids are rich with no listen fatigue, the bass is big and firm. Compared to the basic red book CD player output, it is a crazy good value.
