Jeez guys - lighten up.
Jeff posts something he likes.
You are free to accept it or reject it.
From my perspective, that is the purpose of this forum.
End of story.
I've encountered many things over the years that improved the sound, but did not match conventional wisdom, or the engineering dogma of the time [interestingly enough, the 'engineers' pretend that segment of history doesn't exist...are you listening HP?].
A good example is Jeff's advocacy of paper-in-oil caps in the early 1980s - at a time when the common wisdom was that 'anything/everything else (including massive electrolytics) is an improvement.'
To my ears, Jeff has been proven right many times - and I say: Let's give him the same respect we give the tone-deaf geeks.
