Greetings- I also own this preamp, and the only problem that I ever had with it sounds exactly like what's happening to you. The two ( not such great quality) ceramic tube sockets that are soldered to the circuit board were the source of my problem. This was probably due in part to several 6sn7 variations being swapped in and out during the first two months of use, stressing the connections. I simply reheated and reflowed the solder on each of the tube pins, adding just a bit more silver solder for good measure. I also cleaned and retensioned the octal socket's individual "pin clamping sockets" I haven't lost a channel since, and I have recently swapped out 6Sn7s again. I hope that your situation is this easy to fix, at least it is a good place to start. Good Luck, wpod
