I just loaded three pics of three different filament hangers from three different manufactureres. I'm not sure that you'll be able to see a cathode sleeve, but compare these pics to a typical 6B4G and it sure looks like there is a lot more going on with the filament in comparison.I also just asked "the question" over at Nostalgia Air to see what those guys have to say, still awaiting an answer .Somewhere I have a Philco 6A5G , that when lit and viewed from above, can be observed with only three of the four filaments glowing.As I remember, the tube didn't test as bad as you would think, so I know that I didn't chuck it. It may be worthy of a sacrificial test unless you can think of a non destructive method? Thank You, Paul
