Mike- information is sketchy at best concerning the WA-1, but it's original configuration was pushpull 807, the following WA-2 and WA-3 models both used the 5881 in push pull as outputs. The seperate power supplies appear to be the same on all three models, and then as you know they went to the single chassis on the W-4AM keeping the 5881 and then changing to KT-66 (and 12au7)with the W5M. So do you think the "stock" front end has enough moxie to drive a pair of 6B4G? Would you change the value of the combined 250 ohm cathode resistor or possible use seperate ones? Thanks again, having fun, wpod
