Hi, I've recently built a pair of all transformer coupled, class A differential triode mono-blocks that use CCSs for the cathode bias feed on each stage. K&K Audio's CCSs can be paralleled for higher currents. My output stage requires 240ma of current which is provided by 4 DN2540 CCSs operating in parallel. Kevin uses this arrangement in the amp he designed and builds for Art Audio. If you ask, he might be willing to sell you the PC board and heat-sink that he uses in that application. Makes for a neat installation. I'm using a JFET for the 6SN7 input and a cascoded DN2540 for the 6BZ7GT driver. The output uses parallel 6550s wired as triodes. The circuit is Kevin's design and uses all Lundahl iron. Not cheap, but they sound wonderful!
