something DIY that I haven't thought of? Obviously I'd prefer a source for some nice NOS 1/4 inch ceramic caps at a reasonable price (under $3.00 each) but everywhere that I've looked, the caps cost in excess of $6.00 each. Is there a small spring loaded hose clamp kind of deal that I could cover with a rubber boot or something, at least for breadboarding? I'd love to hear of some homemade devices that test the imagination. What did the cave man do for his grid/plate caps before they invented ceramics? Thanks for your support, regards, wpod
