goddammit! It's sounds WAY better!I've been down this road before and was burned before, now I am burned again! It looks nice on the scope with the cap, but sounds much nicer without it. It rings around 40 KHz but what the heck, now my criticisms against the tone are now to be withdrawn.
It almost sounds SET-like in tone but has more extension and precision over it. Another path the explore, this PP. I like the SE driver to PP output now. Maybe not quite the SET in tone, but this 45 PP is a real winner. One of the best amps I've heard now. Put together from spare parts plus a few extra minor parts I needed. Total cost: $65 plus prior unused purchases.

Now what to tweak? I've got too many things to do! I'm going nuts!
