Thanks for posting your experiences with the IT splitter, I find them very interesting since I'm busy with changing my PP KT88 amps from a concertina splitter to an IT splitter (LL1660/18ma).
As driver I'm using a 2c51 (396a) with both triodes paralleled, 150vdc on the plates and each triode 7.5 maWhen the LL1660's are integrated I'll try it also with a high load on the secondaries and listen to what sounds best.
To get a higher load did you put a 47K resistor and a 220pF cap in parallel with each secondary of the LL1660 ? The LL1660 as splitter IT has 2 secondaries, so in total you have added 2 resistors and 2 caps for each LL1660.
