Not necessarily relevant to snubber circuit, but as you go down the food chain from X to Y to Z (typically, X7R, Y5P, to Z5U) you will see the voltage coefficient of capacitance get worse. Look at the specs for how far a Z5U capacitance drops from 0 to full rated voltage. This is why they should not be used in signal chains.
