RE: Where does the current come from?

Is there a formula to calculate what the (effective) inductance of a typical PS choke will be at various frequencies?

I understand there is no such thing as a "typical" anything but how much shunt capacitance is there in a well made PS choke?

How much does the self resonance change the otherwise calculated reactance of a well made choke within that bandwidth?
