May I recommend: if you're using uncoated ferrites, always sand the edges to a smooth curve and then coat them with any enamel or urethane spray.
1. Less problems with wire insulation.
2. Far more place for wiring, especially with thicker gauge wires and bundles.I was curious about ultrasonic heaters too... the idea was to copy a tube tape machine erase/bias generator - one 6L6 can heat up a couple of 6B4G-s. And then I found a battery... no way back.
