Short answer yes.Longer answer (you knew there would be a longer answer, didn't you?):
The series inductance means that there has to be some HF bypass on a glow diode. It also means that this bypass needs de-Qing. All this has been covered before and I'm sure you're familiar with it.
The point of my post was to confirm where this series inductance arises.
