I'm not an engineer or such, just a technology hobbiest, amateur radio, DIY audio, etc. Maybe I just don't know. But, how is high inductive reactance in a DC shunt regulator relevant in an ac/audio environment. One would surely not pass audio or radio frequencies through one of these things. It'd sound horrible, if you even got the signal over the firing voltage. Now, for the "I-use-$250-solid-silver-power-cords" types, that small inductance is not relevant in a regulated screen grid circuit either. It's to low and the screen grid impedence is too high for it to be a factor at audio frequencies.Anyway, hasta...
