As I have said before ...
I will not agree that because
other stages create phase errrors
then it is fine not to try to keep
the phase as flat as posible.
If good enough is fine by you OK.
But don't tout that it is the standard.
Why design an amp with less than perfect
response (on paper) because in reality
it will not even reach the design ideal.
The flatter the response the better.
The flatter the phase the better.
Reach for perfect not good enough.
