Hi David,

You are correct, 30 mVAC for the finals' B+ is certainly NOT necessary to have a good sounding and performing DHT amp. JLH claims on this Forum that 250 mVAC is not a problem with 2A3s ( 2.5K output trannie ) on horn systems, and with 5K to 8 Ohms for a Type 45, 30 mVAC is not a relevant specification at all.
