in recent times my builds have moved more toward small and bandwidth limited. I look at these giant power transformers and chokes and shake my head why? I could have gotten away with 100VA toroid power transformers with high dcr chokes to go along with my guitar outputs....likely not have known the difference. I think the sub woofers in my system dominate the signature and allow me to throw any little flea watt amp in with satisfaction.

I think those outputs are a bargain. cheaper than edcor and available sooner. great for experimenting. don't hack their leads off! :)

I don't know how this thread divulged into the usual SS bashing. DT brought legit measurements and conversation to the table.
