RE: NFB

NFB can be calculated, but I usually find it empirically by measuring the difference at the output of the amp with and without the NFB resistor connected. It's straightforward to convert the resulting voltage ratio to dB using the 20Log formula or an online dB calculator. 6dB would represent a 2:1 ratio. The second pat of the job is tuning the feedback loop and amplifier for good transient response. This can entail a considerable amount of work.
