I like the e-linear topology. It helps me eliminate an RC stage in my amps. It lets me use that UL tap I may have not previously thought to use. It reduces some gain and gives me a bit of local feedback.
It's a great topology. Especially if you want a simple way to add feedback. No messing around with 10khz square waves and tuning a global feedback loop.
Less caps is better, even Dennis would agree to that I think!
