I initially only had 50uF in the second LC stage. I added the 100uF in hopes of reducing the AC on the secondary of the transformers at idle. It did not change.


I actually think the small .5H chokes do an excellent job for what they are. They only weigh a few lbs. The supply works better than it "should".

The bass is top notch. Maybe in part because the highs are a bit soft. :)

I've not bothered to remove the extra 100uF to try without it - as the bass is too good as is.
