No flywheel presently but I've considered putting the .035H and 15uF back in to get the extra 20V B+.

The SE E-linear is maybe slightly quieter vs using the RC stage.

Presently the power supply is LCLC. Stancor 2708 .3H 10 ohms, 50uF, .3H 10 ohms 150uF.

The AC measured on the output transformers at idle is high at 15mV. The actual noise floor does not reflect that number. It is quiet enough if you don't know what the measurement is! I never liked that but don't hear negatives -only measure it with DMM.


Despite much less gain vs 7b4 the schade feedback elinear lower gain 6sl7 setup still has "jump factor".

I also threw out all of the bypass caps..nothing against the concept , just not for me.

I like ultra simple circuits. Less is more. No audiophile aspirations.
