When Doug said "Oh...right, I forgot about that 'unstressed components' bit" he was calling it BS.

When he said "What ever it is, it is yours alone." he wasn't paying you a compliment. He was making fun of you.

When he said "Fine marketing ploy...utter BS that it is." he was talking about your use of talk like that, 'unstressed components', to market your product and convince people that your amplifiers are somehow "special" and calling it BS. Again, he wasn't paying you a compliment. His use of the word "Fine" was meant as sarcasm with a dash of contempt thrown in.

None of that, or anything I said, is about politics.

Go back and re-read what Douglas said and then how you responded. Just read the words of Douglas, and then your response to those words, as if you are a disinterested third party. It reads like you agree with Douglas that your marketing ploy is BS and also that you're not the only person that can and does use that type of BS marketing.
