Problem thus far for Interstage transformers are this

Good ones are not good enough... one needs great ones.

I have heard this first hand and I am not alone.

Quite rare {great ones} and I have tried through research {RE- Search} That a grid choke and plate choke without the step up has given me 90 percent of That 'great'. However, had I just armchaired my thoughts without TRYING new things... well... as Herbert Spencer said... I would have remained in everlasting ignorance.
