As others here have indicated, a 6SN7 would probably require re-biasing to get it to perform with lowest distortion characteristics in the DAC.
Upgrading current tubes or maybe output caps are typically easily done and can have some benefit.
At least the unit is beyond warranty stage, so it mitigates risk if you choose to modify the circuit.
