I do some work with a not-for-profit that uses it. Good for anything from a blog to an e-commerce site. We've used it for about 8 years or so in conjunction with Stripe (payment processor) and Gravity Forms, and it's been fairly painless so long as someone remembered to check for plugin updates.
Looking forward to the rebooted site. Wayback Machine didn't capture all of your old content.
