RE: Another Source for Aluminum Chassis

I just can't buy into it. I'm not interested in the giant oversized capacitor taking up valuable chassis room.

For a crossover maybe - but in an amp I'm going with small modern film caps every time... I just got rid of my collection of GE oilers also - I just don't buy into the larger capacitors being better.

I like your mounting suggestion - have actually found I really like the GE silicon 2 glue method that Dennis has described. I've used it quite a bit. You can remove the caps with some force - but they'll likely never come out otherwise.

I would happily A/B a set given the chance but don't put a lot of faith in that type of comparison either.

I'm just not an audiophile I suppose!
