I haven't tried CCS so I can only comment on the others. My experience is only with 211s but the higher mu of the 211 means it's probably more critical.Unbypassed common resistor seemed to give lesser clarity. Bypassed common resistor was better but the whole thing fell into place with bypassed separate resistors.
This was using Caddock 820 power resistors on generous heatsinks and Black Gate bypass caps.
The next thing to try is the "WE" connection - common resistor with a cap between the cathodes and the centre tap of the OPT. I will try this one day.
