Home Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Build it!

This is getting really good now, so stop friggin'around with spice, build it and tell us how it sounds!

Points:

You are connecting the output stage's CCS to the minus 30V supply. This only adds heat to this CCS - conect the first pair's CCS to this -30V, but ground the output tube's CCS.

And i do not suggest using CCS loads for the first tubes - a CCS in the cathodes and CCS's as anode loads tend to fight each other - keep it as you have it.

> Still, what are the drawbacks of DC coupling? <

When you have done it like this - none! So, for the third time - BUILD IT!
