Output transformer primary impedance

You say that you used a 7K and ultimately a 10K.
Have you changed things in the circuit to achieve optimal results with such a different impedance than the 5K specified in the design schematic?
I'd like to try the PP-1C but if I'm able to use one of the many pair of the 8K Z-565 I have on hand, I'd prefer it to ordering a new set of OPT's.
