I didnt say their purpose was to lower distortion.That was another person that said that.As a matter of fact this is first Ive ver heard that they lower distortion.I really think the 10 ohm resistors are there mostly for meauring the cathode voltage and directly converting it to current by proportionality. Example 60mv is 60ma. Its makes it easy to set current and balance tubes.
