> C. Self bias inserts another capacitor, usually electrolytic, in the path of load current.Not if you don't bypass the cathode resistor! :-) In fact, though I'm not an expert on the Dynas, I suspect that it's the NFB from a small unbypassed cathode resistor that lowers the IMD.
