I tried 6N1P and am happy now. :-)
ECC99 or 6H30 also worked fine but since I am using passive linestage the higher gain with 6N1P is adequate in my case.
If you are with active linestage with some gain, 6H30 was better.I do belive ECC99 can be good but never tried before 2A3 PP.
BTW my 2A3 is DC coupled parafeed.C.Y
