I see your logic here. Now I'll have to investigate my transformer stash to see if I have anything that supply the additional voltage. I'm not sure I can get high enough B+ with the one I am running right now. If I'm guessing right, I will need 475 on the plates of the 2A3s if I run the 99 at 150v on the plates. This will really put my parts bins to the test. I need some higher wattage resistors and I'll have to change the PS caps to something that will handle around 600V.

Wait...what about a half monkey? Hummm.....
