Another Question

Thanks . . . One more question . . . The amp will be used with both grounded outlets and non-grounded outlets that will nevertheless accept a 3 prong plug. Am I correct to assume that in this case I should leave the cap in and also use a 3-wire cord?

OK . . . one more . . . just to clarify some previous advice given to me. I have both .022uf and .047uf versions of these suppression caps. (They would be replacing the .03uf 600v stock cap which was way out of spec by the way) When I asked on the Vintage board I was told that using the .022 would provide more safety than the .047 - assuming that the chassis is not grounded using a 3rd wire. Is this correct? I just want to make this as safe as possible. Thanks . . . Charlie
