Hi!
I suggest not removing this cap. It is very small (470pF), and is there to stabilize the amp at very high frequencies. It has no effect on bass frequencies, only ultrasonic frequencies which you cannot hear. Without it, you may have HF instability, oscillations, etc. It's value is chosen for the flattest square wave response. Hope this helps. Al
