I own a pair of older Klimo Kent EL34 pp amps that are not fuzzy sounding. I owned and sold a CJ Premier 4 to a doctor that was not fuzzy. My modified Dynaco ST-70 with the Kennedy mods is not fuzzy. These old ST-70 amps are popular for a good reason. They sound good when in spec. I use old production Mullard EL34 tubes. They are among my top 3 or 4 tubes for their sound. I have no knowedge of the new Mullard in name only tubes. I sadly suspect they like the recent Bubgle Boy name rebranded tubes are nothing that special sounding. There used to be an excellent EL34 tube review at VTV that was removed that mentioned many famous amps that used this excellent tube. It was removed a few years ago sadly.
Good luck with your fuzzy amp! John C.
