EICO HF-85 hum problem need help

my Eico HF85 has a hum in one channel, i traced it to the molded 6 wire device connected to the bass control pot. I assume there are resistors and caps inside the molded device for the filter. A schematic is at http://users.rcn.com/fiddler.interport/HF85.HTM, but does not cover insides of the molded device. Any help on replacement or substitution appreciated. The main filter can multi-cap has been tested and is NOT the problem.
