Since the Fisher amp in question has outputs to the tuner / preamp and it's a bit of a guessing game trying to sever the two I was thinking that just striping it and starting over might be the easier route. Someone suggested the EICO HF 86 as a starting point and it looks like a nice one. My OPT only have 8 ohm taps but I found a reference to making the feedback loop work with the 8 ohm taps so that's OK. I really want to try this out in triode mode though, what changes do I have to do to make this work? Am I cracked or what? Any help welcomed.TIA,
Bryanq
