Building clone amp - question about grid resistor and coupling cap

Hello friends,
I'm building my own version of this Eico HF14 amplifier in monoblock form, as original. I thought I'd change the coupling cap value from the minuscule .025uf (same as Eico HF81 integrated amp) to .047uf or higher thinking that may give better bass response. Does that mean I should change the grid resistor to lower ohm value from the indicated 330Kohm? Lower to say, 270K? 220K?

Building this because it's very simple. I built several amps with adjustable bias and more stages and this is cathode bias with few parts. We'll see if it's "purer". :) So far I've had great success building from vintage designs (EL84, 6L6, 6BG6-G, etc.)

Thanks for advice

-Pete
